a couple months ago - i woulda said ice it - nsaid and keep on truckin - having experienced many a vff related ache and pain from overuse - too much too soon, etc - i now say - get off your feet and do some exercise bike or alternate exercise and let it heal a bit - while minimalist running feels incredible - i would never go back to regular running shoes - the transition can create some new aches, pains, strains, what have you - so i would say take it easy and you'll be back out there soon enough (now if i can only follow this advice myself
