Hey everybody,

I'm 18 years old, and as my name implys... I am from Texas.  I'm new to the whole barefoot/minimalistic shoe community and feel like giving it a try.  My new aspirations come from reading a Men's Health article that pointed out the benefits of minimalistic shoe running.  After reading that article, I purchased Born to Run.  My interest for now is spiked.  I'm looking for tips and tricks, and anyone who wants to help me out with their own personal experiences are welcome to.

- Tanner.

Enjoy the book and welcome to the boards. Check out birthdayshoes.com links for some other great resources for barefoot running. Jason Robillard's ebook is fantastic even if you are not planning on an ultra-marathon!
