Hi everyone im Eric from Philadelphia. Its my third day wearing my KSO's and I love them. Really. I thought I would go back and fourth. But now I wear them to work because I can and for my morning run on the mill at the gym then my afternoon run outside. I was a little worried at first about the razzing I would get from my coworkers but I dont care anymore. I feel great. I had a sprained ankle and was forced to do cardio on the eliptical. I had just purchased Saucony Kinvaras and really wanted to use them, thats when I saw Fivefingers for the first time. I purchased them at Philadelphia Runner. Now after becoming used to running in these im debating weather or not I should try to run an upcoming half marathon in them its in a couple weeks. so im not sure if I will be ready for that distance in my 5fingers. But I definitly have intentions of getting the Grey Green Bikilas. Hot! Really. Well its good to meet yous all. Later    Oh PS Scuba Ninja is one of the names I got for wearing my black KSOs lol. I thought it would be an appropraite screen name.

.Well I did a four mile run today after working in my Kso's I have a small cut in the inside of my right arch but I put liquid bandage on it and kept on truckin. I found out that the store in my city twhere I bought my KSO's from has the Bakilas in ther Grey green that I want. I know I just bought the ones I have and they are far from being worn out but I want them. I have wasted money on worse really. I'm waiting a couple more days and then getting them. I seems I can actually feel my feet and calves getting stronger. I have gone through a few blisters with them and they have popped and dried out on their own. If the ancients ran in minimalist if or no footwear I don't see why I can't. But I think the podded soles of the biklias not to mention the mmore pleasing looks will serve me better at the moment.

Fortunately the effects of years of wearing the wrong shoes can be corrected in weeks of wearing VFFs.  It's amazing how my legs have transformed from scrawny stilts on my 6'3" frame to more solid trunks in about two months of wearing them.

Not for nothin cuz but my family an coworkers are sick of hearin me praise vffs So this website is a killer idea. And that post is just the kind of info I'm looking for. I just got the grey green bikilas today and they feel a hundred times better. Same size but the sock liner and the lil extra sole and pods really do a lot. I know the are more shoe looking but I think that is a good thing. They aren't as blam in yer face as my black on black ksos. They look too much like scuba booties to wear to work an full time which is what I've been doing so a second pair won't kill me. I don't have the cutting irritatation on my instep with my bikilas. I know I need to chill with the runnin so much in them but today was my first day with the bikilas and couldn't help it. I did 4 miles on the mill. Then lifted then dropped of my bag and did another 2 around the nighborhood park. Oh well I did notice my stride improve today its less gaurded and quicker. I know its just running on my forfoot period and probably dosent have too much to do with bikilas.
