After listening to some interviews from Christopher McDougall and Justin calling in on the Kathleen show, I thought it would be nice if some distinguished expert could "meet" on a weekly/monthly bases chatting about the newest developments in barefoot movement transmit it to everyone via a podcast or something. I mean referring to interviews with Christopher McDougall, they all ask the same questions as it seems which ultimately lead to the same answers of course so it would be cool if there would be some fresh air in such chatter. Also it would be could to hear about the general impression of people who are very intense dealing with the barefoot stuff how it developments in different regions and what different paths it take. No idea if such a talk could fill enough time to keep listeners interested nevertheless could it be some nice addition to the birthdayshoes page I think. Maybe also let visitors gather questions for such event. I'm getting inspired by dev-chats for video games here I have to admit Tongue Problem is, its possibly a lot of additional work for those who try to plan such a thing and the people who would participate of course, maybe its even not possible.

This is a spectacular idea. It'd be kind of hard to do interviews with people without rehashing a lot though. Maybe a podcast where new issues are discussed and people are called in to talk about their specific area of expertise or the role they play in the movement.

Well I'm not asking for more of those interviews you know, more like meeting with people in a pub for a beer talking about stuff they recently saw and experienced and also telling them what you have done lately and stuff but with a focus on barefoot stuff. And of course with the addition that we can listen in on this chatter and comment on it. It should be more fun than a menial task you are forced to do on a regular bases. More a meeting of friends with common interests then business partners. It would also be cool to bring in new people that never heard about barefoot movement at all and have their opinion on it surprising them with a glimpse at VFF to shock them to start with Cheesy Usually you only get the odd look from bystanders when you walk by with your VFF but there isn't much talk so if you bring in one of those, may the person be famous or not, its always nice to talk a bit more about those stuff beyond the usually "your shoes really look odd/ugly".
