Hey everyone!

This weekend I went tubing with some friends on Sugar Creek in Indiana. VFF's were perfect for this! I wore my classics (and admittedly had to dump creek pebbles out a couple of times), and one of my friends was wearing his KSOs (probably the better choice - except for those tan lines!). I jumped off of my tube to walk a couple of times, and I think I was much more stable than my friends in sandals (or no shoes). So much fun. Anyone else have fun stories about tubing/canoeing/kayaking?

K

ps. Sorry, didn't take any pics, but here's a website that will give you an idea of the trip: http://www.clementscanoes.com/

TONS of people in New Braunfels wear VFFs tubing, that's actually how I initially found out about them.

Not a funny story, but I always bring my KSO's when I go canoeing. My daughter loves hers when she goes tubing on the same river, Blackwater and/or Coldwater in FL panhandle. I just can't bring myself to sit in the tube, i've just seen too many snakes in the river :-)
