When time is tight. Time to break out the blackout routine. Simple, but not easy.
20 swings, 10 cleans right, 10 cleans left, 10 snatchs right, 10 snatches left 60 seconds rest 18 swings, 9 cleans right, 9 cleans left, 9 snatchs right, 9 snatches left 50 seconds rest 16 swings, 8 cleans right, 8 cleans left, 8 snatchs right, 8 snatches left 40 seconds rest 14 swings, 7 cleans right, 7 cleans left, 7 snatchs right, 7 snatches left 30 seconds rest 12 swings, 6 cleans right, 6 cleans left, 6 snatchs right, 6 snatches left 20 seconds rest 10 swings, 5 cleans right, 5 cleans left, 5 snatchs right, 5 snatches left 10 seconds rest 270 reps with a 16kg kettlebell. Time 14mins 10 secs. (including rests) Workload 4320kg.
Cracking little routine to fry the heart and lungs when time is tight. As the saying goes "you do not have to work long, if you work hard."

Bought kettlebells yesterday afternoon, first workout this morning. Did it barefoot (cause I could).
I'm blown away by how much it works my legs- and how fast!
Consider my converted.

Um, I don't know the brand. One piece, cast iron with rubber dipped lowers.
A 25lb and a 35lb.
Odd that they weren't in Kg, but hey, what can you do?

That would be a 12 and a 16kg, then. Plenty to be getting on with.
Keep us informed how you get on. Jason

So it's been a couple of weeks. Me & Kettlebells are better buddies now.
I'm blown away by how much they work my legs- especially my hamstrings. They are fun, require concentration, and are fast. All things that regular weights are not.
Big fan.

I usually start out with some basic two handed swinging, then one handed with some juggling. Then presses.
Juggling might be my favorite. Hand swaps, flips, taps... Lots of fun.
Got any recommendations?

Yes.
That's the stuff, right there. Some of the only weight work that keeps me from getting bored.
Thanks, man.
